...it's popular enough (even with Pernell Roberts deceased) to warrant ANY DVD issues. It was on for seven seasons (1979-'86), and repeated on FX several years ago, but "no one" remembers it now. So, they figure, why spend money to promote and market a series no one is interested in? It's the sad truth. They'd rather make money off "24" and "THE SIMPSONS" on DVD because people KNOW those series......

but a LOOOT of "MASH" fans (including myself) would love to see a DVD release of it.

Also the show "AFTER MASH" and the pilot "WALTER" which only aired once, and was about Radar O'Rielly as a cop.

I read over at the Shout community board that the show isn't available for licensing. Not sure what that means. But apparently, the studio that owns it doesn't want to license it out for dvd release. It could either mean they want to release it themselves or they don't want to release it right now. I wish it would come out though. Great, great show! I can't believe people don't remember it.
