...a series of specials that aired on CBS in the 70s, that were about this teenage girl living with her widowed father who was played by Jason Robards and her grandmother who was played by Mildred Natwick. They took place in the midwest in the 40s. I remember the first one was called "THE YEAR WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS TREE" and was shown at Christmas (well DUH!!!:lol: ) then there was also a Thanksgiving one and one for Valentines day, but I forget the names of those two, also I forget if they made any more in the "series".

Yes, I certainly do. The actress who portrayed the girl was named Lisa Lucas, and the specials were always touching and well acted. :)
