According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Roger Friedman, Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are in the midst of planning a sequel to “We Are the World,” the collaborative single released 25 years ago. The duo have reportedly reached out to singers like Usher, Natalie Cole, and John Legend, and hope to gather the musicians during Grammy weekend. All proceeds will go to Haiti relief.

That's a good idea - it won't be the same without Michael, but maybe they can reunite as many of the original artists from the 1985 recording as possible, too. It's a great way to tie in both the 25th anniversary of the song and relief to the Haitian people.

I wonder if the other Jacksons would be there?
And I have no surprise that there will be a Live Aid this year!

They might have some Jacksons there. Jackie, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Tito also sang on the original recording.
