For the Summer Games, the Opening ceremony took place on July 28, the closing ceremony took place on August 12. The summer games were held in Los Angeles.


For the winter Olympics, the opening ceremony took place on February 7 and the closing ceremony on February 19. The Winter games were held in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia

Both the summer and winter Olympics are only two weeks, right? I agree though that sometimes they seem like they take forever; especially the summer Olympics. I was all excited about the last Summer Olympics but before long I was so ready for them to be over. It was boring after a while!
