I visit the Netflix site on a regular basis and yesterday something totally freaky happened. I was trying to read one of my reviews on a movie so that I could post a comment on another message board. I went to my account and under reviews it says "0" !!!! I know for a fact that I have reviewed pretty much every movie that I've ever rented from Netflix, not to mention a ton of others. I managed to find one but when I click on "find other reviews by this member", it shows none! What gives? Kind of ticks me off, since I post these reviews to help others out! I changed my screen name recently but just a few weeks ago I was able to pull up all my reviews.

On top of that, When I went to add some movies that I saw were coming out in the theatre (into my saved queue), I get this huge pop up box that says "You must comply with the terms to use this site."

What gives? I still love Netflix, and this has nothing to do with their level of service. I'm not going to complain or cancel my membership. I managed to email them about the problem but I may call them as well. A little upsetting to find all the reviews I worked on gone like that!

Has anyone else had this problem?

It's probably just a temporary glitch. Give it a few days.

I think Netflix is doing the same thing YouTube has been doing lately with the shenanagans pop-up. Then again Netflix hasn't exactly been good about maintaining their new releases page, either. They show movies that came out two months ago or hide the good releases 3 or 4 pages into the list.

I haven't been asked to rate the movie I rented and it's been almost a week since I turned in the movies. Their site must be having technical difficulties.

That must be what it is because why in the heck would they delete all my reviews? My husband thought maybe they did that to clean up their site every so often, but I know that when I am lukewarm about renting a movie, I'll read all the reviews, even if there are many. Well, as long as they keep sending my movies in a timely matter, then it's okay. I'll try posting a review for the movie I watch tomorrow or whenever it comes and see what happens. Thanks!

I may HAVE to get a Netflix Membership since I can't watch a movie anymore on YouTube nor I can find it at the Library!

Unfortunately the library can be pretty limited. Wonder what's up with Youtube?

By the way, out of curiosity, I checked Netflix again today and my reviews are back! YEA!!! Thanks for listening to my rant! They never emailed me back, but maybe they read my note and fixed the problem!

Copyrights and fear of being sued by the Big Movie Companies!

No doubt that site will be gone soon.

I actually love that site. Mainly I watch the music videos, so I would miss it. I've found tons of "lost" moments in TV on You Tube.
