Couldn't believe I saw ALF listed in the electronic program guide on the old set top box. No promotions that I saw, just boom, here it is. Weeknights at six o'clock, starting tonight, on one of the new free to air channels here, 7 Two. The opening credits was the full version as well. I'll cut out the ads later and see what the run time is.
Yeah, currently on at 6pm weeknights on 7TWO. I haven't seen this show since the original '86-'90. Can't believe it's been this long.
I was only 12 when it debuted on Aussie TV. A lifetime ago!
It's great they've been showing the uncut episodes (except "Ballad" of course ) but they left off the little "watch next week for..." at the end of "Someone to Watch Over Me". I realise it's on nightly but it was a pretty funny segment. I don't think fans would have minded.
I'm interested to see if they use the French opening credits like the German DVD's have in "Movin' Out".
They've just finished the fourth season with a nice touch. They screened Project: ALF as well. The only episode missed out was "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?" Hopefully they'll catch up if they show the seasons again.
