(The NY Jets won the AFC Divisional Championship by beating the SD Chargers 17-14.)

(Ralph & Ed have just watched the game from the poolroom.)

Ed: "What a game Ralph-ie boy! The J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets are going to play for the AFC title for the first time in 11 years."

Ralph: "I thought the Jets were goners. Those Chargers looked to be pretty tough. Last week, both of us thought that the Jets were going to face the Pats or Ravens. How wrong were you Norton? I knew all along that the Jets were going to face the Colts or the Ravens."

Ed: "Didn't you also agree with me?"

Ralph: "Shut up. That Rex Ryan will be a hero to NY if he made the Jets win their first Super Bowl since '69."

(Harvey walks by.)

Harvey: "That win was a fluke. Fluke. F-l-u-k-e."

Ralph: "You think so huh? I knew ALL ALONG that the Jets were going to win. I wasn't worried at all, wasn't I Norton?"

Ed: "Ralph, I thought that you were wor..."

(Ralph elbows Ed.)

Ed: "Oomph!"

Harvey: "I bet I can beat anyone of those Jets players. They play like girlie men."

Ralph: "I see that you and Arnold Schwarzenegger have one thing in common. You are both stupid to think that the Jets were not going to win."

(Later. Ed accompanies Ralph home. Ralph has two black eyes and a lot of bandages on him.)

Ed: "What do you have to say Ralph? The Jets are going to the championship game."

Ralph: "I got a BIIIIIG MOUTH!"

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT."

(Audience applauds.)
