Is anyone else having problems with the board loading, very very slow? I have close out the browser page and when I try to come back on it's still very slow.

This is the ONLY message board I am having this problem with, so I don't think it's my puter.

Agreed. It seems like it happens on certain days, at certain times. It's actually been running fine for me today, however.

Yea about an hour ago I couldn't even get on.

Maybe there were alot of people online and that made the server slower?

Board seems fine now

Slow beats being offline completely for hours. It can be a bit slower in peak times (4-6pm especially) when people are performing searches and other other things that put extra load on the server. The server has good and bad days. We could turn off some things that might help a bit but people may find those features useful.

We've turned off the search and downloading of attachments for guests. We'll see if that improves things a bit and continue to tweak the settings.

It was running at a snail's pace earlier. Some pages took forever to load as well as the ticker but all seems fine now. :)

I was in class earlier tonight and I thought it was the school's computer. It seems all better now.

what do you mean by Tweak The Setting
