Who says you can’t go home again? Jennie Garth, that’s who. The actress’ husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli, confirmed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that his 37-year-old wife is moving on from the hip zip code at Lionsgate’s Golden Globe party Jan. 16.

“She’s just not doing it anymore,” Peter, 36, told us of his wife, who reprised her role as bubbly blond Kelly Taylor when the hit 90’s show got a remake in 2008. “It was one of those things where she was supposed to do a couple of episodes, it went a bit longer and now she’s moving on.”

He added, “She enjoys being a mother, and being at home. She wants to write more and I support her 100 percent. She doesn’t need to work if she doesn’t want to. ”

But although Jennie doesn’t need to work, she’s clearly going to anyway. Like the good hubby he is, Peter says he’s optioned a show for Jennie to star in, and, if he can find time out of his busy schedule playing vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Saga films, he’d like to direct her in a Hallmark Channel project.

We noticed something was up when Jennie refused to speak to press at the Access Hollywood Stuff You Must lounge earlier that day, and now we understand why! Parting is such sweet sorrow…

They might as well cancel the new 90210. The only thing interesting about it was seeing the old cast, Kelly, Brenda, Donna--I don't know if anyone else showed up, but its time to move on!
