View Full Version : Cowboys destroyed in the DOME, and i pray that Wade Phillips is fired
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 11:13 AM 3 pts?
Well I have to give Romo a pass because he did play a part in beating the Beagles 3 times and he did improve by winning 1 playoff game.
I just hate the coach
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 11:18 AM I hope you're right. I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about this game. On the other hand anything else they do this year is a bonus for me because I never thought they'd be here in the first place.
bandito 01-17-2010, 11:19 AM Minnesota Offense is not scary, their defense is not scary, their coach is an IDIOT and the only way the Cowboys lose this game is if they have TURNOVERS
like fumbles on kickoff returns
interceptions in own territory
other than that I see no way the Vikings win since Farve is HORRIBLE in postseason
Cowboys 35
Vikings 10You better be right, cause if your not.....
I'm going to COME LOOKING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 11:28 AM I hope you're right. I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about this game. On the other hand anything else they do this year is a bonus for me because I never thought they'd be here in the first place.
Remember the Vikings needed a HAILMARY to beat the Niners?-lol That should make you feel better

Brian Damage 01-17-2010, 12:08 PM Sol, no offense, but you are starting to act like Eagle fans. You are way too over confident.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 12:32 PM Sol, no offense, but you are starting to act like Eagle fans. You are way too over confident.
The only competitive teams I see are the Colts and Chargers. The Vikings and Saints have already exposed as frauds so that's why I can't see the Cowboys losing.
bandito 01-17-2010, 12:36 PM Remember the Vikings needed a HAILMARY to beat the Niners?-lol That should make you feel betterRemember Dallas only beat the Skins by ONE point.
bandito 01-17-2010, 12:46 PM The only competitive teams I see are the Colts and Chargers. The Vikings and Saints have already exposed as frauds so that's why I can't see the Cowboys losing.Frauds??? What makes Dallas better than the Vikes & Saints? and don't say defense, cause the Vikes dee is ranked better than dallas. You better hope Dallas doesn't advance, because Drew Brees is going to light them up!

The Saints played the bucs twice, lost 1, played the lions, played the panthers twice, lost 1. The End
The Vikings played the lions twice, bears, THE END
bandito 01-17-2010, 01:28 PM The Saints played the bucs twice, lost 1, played the lions, played the panthers twice, lost 1. The End
The Vikings played the lions twice, bears, THE ENDDallas played the skins twice, oakland kansas city, tampa bay, seattle, Denver (a loss).. What's your point???? The END.
Brian Damage 01-17-2010, 01:28 PM Solomon, the Cowboys OWN the Eagles, it may be a different story against the Vikings.

Jerry Jones has that-"WE AIN"T LOSING" look in his eyes-lol
He had it every since they played the saints in mid december

Good for Jerry Jones, but he doesn't play on the field.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 01:44 PM Good for Jerry Jones, but he doesn't play on the field.
True but I think he told the what he wants this year-"PLAYOFF SUCCESS"
Anything less than the SB is not accepted
Janice 01-17-2010, 01:47 PM Good luck Sonny and Solomon!
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 01:52 PM Good luck Sonny and Solomon!
Thanks Janice
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:14 PM Same old Romo-LOL
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:20 PM Same old Romo-LOL
They got the ball back so the fumble was not that big of a deal.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:34 PM Why is that Romo plays like sh*t when I put my trust in him? This d*ckhead has started the game with 3 fumbles
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:36 PM Why is that Romo plays like sh*t when I put my trust in him? This d*ckhead has started the game with 3 fumblesSame old Romo. ohno:
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:38 PM The Boys don't look that bad.. they need to put together a mistake free drive.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:39 PM Same old Romo. ohno:
I still cant believe on 4th and 1 at midfield, ******** a$$ Wade Phillips sends out the FG kicker
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:41 PM I still cant believe on 4th and 1 at midfield, ******** a$$ Wade Phillips sends out the FG kickerThat's what i posted earlier, terrible Coach
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:41 PM The Boys don't look that bad.. they need to put together a mistake free drive.
I'm trying to figure why Brett Farve is on the sideline smiling like the score is 28-0
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:44 PM I was't expecting Romo to be under this much pressure.
7-3 is what it has to be for now
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:45 PM Dallas needs Touchdowns not field goals
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:46 PM I was't expecting Romo to be under this much pressure.
7-3 is what it has to be for nowJared Allen is a Beast
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:49 PM Dallas needs Touchdowns not field goals
If I was a coah I would only kick FG's after a extra point. Only TD's in a do or die game
Waterston_Fan 01-17-2010, 02:49 PM Jared Allen is a Beast
Yeah. That's why I was so happy he was traded to Minnesota.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 02:54 PM Looks like I may have to root for the Saints next week because I don't want brett farve in the SB.
I just don't feel good about this game anymore, Romo looks scared and confused and the Vikings Defense is too much right now. And on top of that Brett Farve is throwing accurate passes which means a LOSS for the Cowboys
bandito 01-17-2010, 02:57 PM Touchdown Vikes!!!!!!!!! Favre looks spot on!
bandito 01-17-2010, 03:02 PM Looks like I may have to root for the Saints next week because I don't want brett farve in the SB.
I just don't feel good about this game anymore, Romo looks scared and confused and the Vikings Defense is too much right now. And on top of that Brett Farve is throwing accurate passes which means a LOSS for the CowboysThat's who i'm rooting for. I'd like to see the Saints win it all.
bandito 01-17-2010, 03:04 PM Romo looks confused.. Favre is licking his chops.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 03:10 PM Well I did say if the Cowboys turned over the ball that would be the ony way they would lose.
14 pt deficit in a playoff game is HUGE especially when you are on the road and the home team defense has yet to give up a TD.
That's why I just don't see a comeback. The Vikings Defense is too confident right now
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 03:13 PM Well I wil defintely know what the turning point of the game was if they lose 4th and 1
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 03:27 PM The Cowboys had their chances early. You can't leave points on the field like that and quit turning the ball over.
bandito 01-17-2010, 03:28 PM Half time thoughts?
Romo and his o-line better pick their game up if Dallas has a chance of coming back.
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 03:33 PM Half time thoughts?
Romo and his o-line better pick their game up if Dallas has a chance of coming back.
Losing Flozell hurts. I think that might be the game right there.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 03:34 PM The Cowboys had their chances early. You can't leave points on the field like that and quit turning the ball over.
I still feel that Wade should be fired because in a playoff game on 4th and 1 you GO FOR IT.
What would peyton Mannig have done? You saw yesterday he went for it on 4th and 4.
You have to challenge the defense and do what they don't expect you to do.
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 03:40 PM I still feel that Wade should be fired because in a playoff game on 4th and 1 you GO FOR IT.
What would peyton Mannig have done? You saw yesterday he went for it on 4th and 4.

I agree that was a bad call. Our FG kicker isn't that great and I didn't really expect him to make it.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 03:48 PM I agree that was a bad call. Our FG kicker isn't that great and I didn't really expect him to make it.
Well I won't be watching ESPN tonight-lol
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 03:57 PM Wade Phillips is setting Suisham up to FAIL-lol
I don' blame him at all for the missed FG's because he shouldn't have been kicking either one of them
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 03:58 PM Well I won't be watching ESPN tonight-lol
So we go for another long FG. lol
Waterston_Fan 01-17-2010, 03:59 PM Damn!! This makes me more nervous...
I mean three home teams win in this divisional playoffs.
Come on Chargers!! Make it a clean sweep.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 04:02 PM So we go for another long FG. lol
Normally I would say Susiham should be fired for missing two fg's but he was put in a bad spot twice. You can't ask him to make two 50 yd fg's while the team is trailing 17-3-lol
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 04:22 PM Well the Day is complete now that Romo has thrown a INT
Now is officially over and I'm headed to the toilet
bandito 01-17-2010, 04:45 PM I've come to some conclusions
1. If there is a 'fraud' in the NFL It's the Cowboys.
2. Tony romo sucks.
3. Wade Phillips should be fired.
4. As long as Jerry Jones is the owner, the cowboys will never win a Championship.
5. Jones should take some of his millions and flash it in front of Bill Cowher's face.
bandito 01-17-2010, 04:49 PM Oh, I almost forgot
#6. Sol, please change the title of this thread... It makes you look silly.
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 05:02 PM I'm not going to bash Wade and Romo. I don't see the point. Nothing will change. Wade is coming back for another year. I'll save the bashing for next year. lol The fact is Minnesota is a better team. They were the #2 seed for a reason. The Cowboys needed to play a good game to beat them and they did not. They had their chances early and couldn't cash in. Add the turnovers to it and they dug their own grave. I'm disappointed with the loss but nobody can take back how I felt last week after the Eagles game. That'll have to do for right now.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 05:03 PM Oh, I almost forgot
#6. Sol, please change the title of this thread... It makes you look silly.
Any coach who punts on 4th and 3 down 20-3 needs to be fired
by the way, I'm not watching the Jets/Chargers game, the Cowboys Press Conference instead
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 05:08 PM Cowboys punt on 4th and 4 down 20 to 3?
bandito 01-17-2010, 05:11 PM I'm not going to bash Wade and Romo. I don't see the point. Nothing will change. Wade is coming back for another year. That'll have to do for right now.Sonny, the cowboys had a good run, that;s more than i can say for my Steelers. A few off season changes and they will be on top again. Tough loss. :(
Big C 01-17-2010, 05:11 PM Dallas, in the end, had a better season than anyone expected.
They won a division title in a year few gave them a chance- Sonny had them going 7-9- and got the playoff monkey off their back.
They conquered the December jinx, Romo won a playoff game, Wade won a playoff game.
You can't go from zero to 100 in one year.
Peyton Manning didn't win his first playoff game until his sixth year, and needed a few more years to win a Super Bowl.
If anything, I think the 2009 Cowboys were overachievers a year after they were underachievers.
Big C 01-17-2010, 05:13 PM Favre did have a good game, though- 4 touchdowns.
I think somebody owes "Brett Fart" an apology.
Brian Damage 01-17-2010, 05:23 PM I am sorry the Cowboys lost Sonny, but definitely grateful you guys laid the smackdown on the Birdies. lol
Brian Damage 01-17-2010, 05:24 PM Neither the Saints or Vikings will win the SB so it don't matter
Just like the prediction of yours Sol? lol
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 05:26 PM Just like the prediction of yours Sol? lol
Yeah I'm stunned right now. I saw no way they can lose to the Vikings
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 05:27 PM Thanks everybody. :)
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 05:28 PM Wade Phillips proves wy he is 1-4 in the playoffs
Because that Fat piece of SH*T doesn't understand that in a do or die game you don't PUNT on 4th and 1 at midfield
Brian Damage 01-17-2010, 05:31 PM Yeah I'm stunned right now. I saw no way they can lose to the Vikings
Believe it or not Sol, the Vikings are a good team.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 05:36 PM Believe it or not Sol, the Vikings are a good team.
Just found out from watching the Brad Childress press conference that he and his team were sick of hearing about the BIG BAD COWBOYS all week in the media.
So thats why the Vikings were playing so hard
I love that Terry Bradshaw was whining that the Vikings ran up the score.
Waterston_Fan 01-17-2010, 05:39 PM I hope karma isn't a bitch to the Chargers and four home teams win this weekend.
Janice 01-17-2010, 05:49 PM It's a tough pill to swallow. They faced a tough opponent away from home. Be proud that the Cowboys went this far at all. It wasn't easy. It's further than most of the other teams went.
bandito 01-17-2010, 06:27 PM Does anyone think Dallas might look to the draft for a Qb?
Big C 01-17-2010, 06:43 PM Does anyone think Dallas might look to the draft for a Qb?
No.

Ah give me a break. Last week was the first time all season that the media even got on the Cowboys bandwagon. To tell the truth I prefer it when they disrespect us. It makes the Cowboys play harder.
Mr. Television 01-17-2010, 07:32 PM Does anyone think Dallas might look to the draft for a Qb?
No the Cowboys are Romo's team and will be for the next few years.

Yea that's very true Janice. I should feel worse than I do but I guess I never expected the Cowboys to get this far to begin win. I felt worse two years ago when they had the best record in the NFC and choked.
TVFactFan 01-17-2010, 07:41 PM Yea that's very true Janice. I should feel worse than I do but I guess I never expected the Cowboys to get this far to begin win. I felt worse two years ago when they had the best record in the NFC and choked.
And the media has always been back and forth with 1st round byes
If you win then the rest HELPED YOU
if you lose then the rest made you RUSTY
WHICH ONE IS IT?-lol
Schmoopie 01-18-2010, 05:14 AM Wow I was just shocked when I saw the outcome of this game! What the heck happened? Very surprising. My condolences to all Cowboy fans! Seriously! Even my husband commented that he doesn't remember Dallas ever having lost a game that badly!

I do, 44-6 last year against the Eagles
Mr. Television 01-18-2010, 02:31 PM I do, 44-6 last year against the Eagles
A day that never will be forgotten with this team. lol
TVFactFan 01-18-2010, 02:35 PM A day that never will be forgotten with this team. lol
I will say that the 44-6 game was erased because the Cowboys beat them the following season 3 times which also included a playoff elimination. So that 44-6 game is erased forever-lol

It eased it somewhat but until this team wins a SB it won't get erased by me especially after yesterday's game. lol
TVFactFan 01-18-2010, 02:53 PM It eased it somewhat but until this team wins a SB it won't get erased by me especially after yesterday's game. lol
That's true, SB will erase everything-lol
Big C 01-18-2010, 03:48 PM One irony about the infamous 44-6 game:
had Dallas won that game, they would have played a Wild Card game at the Metrodome, the same place they played yesterday.

Yeah but they would have had Tavaris Jackson instead
Mr. Television 01-18-2010, 06:04 PM Yeah but they would have had Tavaris Jackson instead
Exactly. lol
