ABC has found success with its comedy lineup of Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town but it’s not resting on its laurels. Sitcom development for fall 2010 is well underway at the network. To wit, ABC just ordered a multi-camera comedy pilot from writer/executive producer Shana Goldberg-Meehan (Friends) and Warner Bros. TV. The unnamed, half-hour project is about two sisters at different stages in their romantic relationships: one is happy but isn’t married while the other gets pregnant and hitched – fast.

I am responding to this thread because it is one of the very few that I have any interest in and that I am not already the most recent person to post. The site as a while seems to be extreamly slow at the moment! Just in case anyone is interested, two of my most recent attempts to stimulate some conversation about some of these fine shows are on the pages of "Gimme a Break!" and "Mad About You". Neither of these threads have any responses and the number of views is five and seven respectively. And just in case anyone would like to call someone who gives a hoot, I will spring for both quarters!
