I loved the first episode of "Emeril", "Fat"!

Anyone else?

Perhaps I got my hopes up when I read that the show was created by Linda Bloodworth Thomasen (sp) the same person who created Designing Women. The show was cute but I was expecting more. Apparently Emeril is the "straight" character who responds to all the crazies that work with him. I noticed that LBT didn't write the pilot so maybe she is not going to be as "hands on" as she was in DW. I'm still going to give it another 2 or 3 episodes but so far I'm not impressed.

I give this show a 7 out of 10...it's pretty funny...but honestly, Emeril is meant for a cooking show, not a sitcom.
