We caught up with the loooooovely Kristen Bell yesterday, and knowing her Twitter babies would be keen for one, got an update on the proposed (but likely never-gonna-happen) "Veronica Mars" movie.
''Yeah, I’ve answered this question a lot'', says Bell, "The way it stands right now, from the information that I have, is that Rob Thomas wrote the script, or treatment or synopsis or whatever, and brought it to Warner Bros. And then Joel Silver said Warner Bros has ‘no enthusiasm to make a Veronica Mars movie at this point’ – which means they don’t think they can sell tickets.
''I think the Veronica Mars fans would say otherwise … it’s all just a matter of convincing them that people would see it, which is what some of the online groups that are so, so dedicated are trying to do. Which is so awesome. But at this point we have no control. One thing I do know is that Rob and I will probably just shoot it in his backyard.''
