If Conan did move to Fox he would have the only late night show on that network and wouldn't have any competition for his timeslot. And I think NBC might just be willing to accomodate his departure in order to ease the logjam in their own late night schedule.

With no disrespect to Conan fans, an NBC latenight without Conan would simply be for the better. Let's face it - his ratings suck wherever he goes. He pulled in a mere 2.1 million viewers last week. Meanwhile, Jay was pulled 4.5-5 million on the same show in the same timeslot, all while Jimmy Fallon is doing exactly the same as Conan was before June, if not better. Jay taking back The Tonight Show, leading into Fallon at 12:35, is for the best.

:yeahthat Conan's humor is just too subversive for 11:35. Who knows what he'd be like at 11 PM, but then again, FOX is known for having shows with very subversive humor. :lol: A lot of people also watch their local news at 11 on their NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. affiliates, so who knows how that would turn out. The saga continues...
