Lifetime has canceled "Rita Rocks" after two seasons.

The multi-camera comedy starring Nicole Sullivan was picked up by the network's former Lifetime entertainment president Susanne Daniels in a deal that gave the network significant ownership.

The show, produced by MRC, was ordered as a companion to the off-network comedy "Reba" and the original plan was to amass enough episodes to strip it.

Lifetime was recently put under the oversight of A&E president and CEO Abbe Raven as part of combining the A&E and Lifetime assets in a new venture.

I don't know what all of that means, but I enjoyed the show. I'll miss it.

I will miss the show too. I didn't get to watch it often because it conflicted with Monday Night Football. Did she have the baby in the final espisode? I never did hear if she was having a boy or a girl?

Baby boy. I believe they named him Max.

This sucks. Rita Rocks was one of the few current sitcoms I actually like.
