This was on the front page of the Seattle Times on Thursday. It doesn't really bother me, because all it means is that we won't get to see the games live, but will have to watch NBC instead to see the tape-delay. But I just think it's funny that even though we're only three hours away, we can't watch them live!
According to the article (of which I've posted a link!), CBC the Canadian station that we can get up here, lost the bidding for the Olympics to CVC, which I'd never heard of. Probably because it's a station we CAN'T get!
Oh well, as long as I can see the couples figure skating competitions I'll be happy. Tape delay or no tape delay. I love Tessa Virtue and Scott Moore, which I guess is somewhat hypocritical of me, since they are Canadians! Um... is that wrong? I just think they are adorable together!
Actually the real reason I'm excited about the Olympics is because I was in Whistler last summer with my husband for the first time and it will be cool to see if they show any of the places we went! I know... a very lame reason to watch, but that's okay!
