Didn't she also play Miss Tisdale (the postmistress) on Dukes of Hazzard? I know she was one of the elderly protestors who picketed WKRP after they changed from elevator music to rock & roll.

Not quite.

She's only the second cast member from Benson to pass away. The 1st cast member to pass was Billie Bird who played Rose Cassidy during the final 2 seasons of Benson.

Oh yea and she was really great on Dear John. I think she's the only cast member of that show that has died.

I knew he had died and I considered him but ultimately I felt he wasn't a "major cast member." Of the cast members, going by the opening credits, they're all still alive with the exception of Nicholas Colasanto.

Oh man. How could I have overlooked Andy Kaufman?

Maybe you've just so accepted that he's been dead because it's been so long ago and no other cast member died in recent years except for Jeff Conaway and so Kaufman just slipped your mind. :)
