This year is starting to be on the 'suck' side.
First-I get yelled at my boss since I didn't shovel the snow (which I did) and if he opens his mouth again...I'm going to quit!
Second-The car that my parents own breaks-down in a parking lot and I had to ride on Public Transportation while they had to walk home and get the other car.
On top of that, Grandma's in the hospital (which I told you about).
Looks like today is the worst day ever!

Why would you quit your job when jobs are so hard to come by? I don't think your boss would have yelled at you if you did a good job at shoveling the snow. JMO.

It wasn't wide for him and he thinks I'm being lazy.
I'm just giving him a job that they paid me for ($300 a month)! If it was $3000 a month...I'd be shoveling the whole damn property!

Sorry you had such a bad day. Whatever the case though, bandito is right, don't quit your job, at least until you have another one lined up. For that paycheck, it must be part-time which leaves you with extra time to get another job.

Be happy to have at least one job - it's a steady paycheck. That's better than nothing!!

Much better
I think I have a low once in January. And for the record...that was NOT the worst day that I ever had, that was in 1/8/2007...I wound-up in the hospital because I was very depressed.

:bighug: Hope you are having a better rest of the week-and a good start to the coming week. Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I HATE being reprimanded by supervisors. It just completely ruins my day and it makes it hard sometimes. Some supervisors really don't care about your feelings. Believe me, there have been MANY times when I have been reduced to tears. Fortunately most of those times I have managed to keep it under control until after work. I have a full time job, but I have had to apply for a weekend job, and it was really hard to admit to having to do that, but in this economy... Plus, I look at it this way. If I have a bad day at my regular job, a job in another atmosphere (in this case, hopefully retail) breaks up the montomy. It's worth a try, even if you aren't doing it for the money. It might turn out to be a job you love!
