It's been a long time since I've seen the episode and I don't remember the full context, but I seem to recall thinking she deserved it. (I certainly would've gotten it!)

I know this should be in the Maude section but it isn't very active and I want someone to see this. HERE IS A CHALLENGE! Over 20 years ago Gimme A Break was on every day after school. Later at night Maude reruns were on. One night I watched Maude and the very next day GAB had almost the exact same episode, word for word for over 80% of the show. I'm too lazy to do it myself but I challenge someone to find the episode guides for GAB and Maude and discover which episode this is.
