I remember the story where a guy and his wife were living together. A knock on the door one night was a guy claiming he had car trouble down the road. He offered to help the man and drove him down the road to his car. The man he offered to help eventually killed him.

The case was actually being solved on the night the segment originally aired. That was acknowledged in the update that was added to the repeat broadcast of the segment when it was rerun in the summer of 1990.
