That sucks! What the hell is wrong with them? This is the network of "Mad Men" and THEY need money$?

long as they run them between5:00am or 6:00am i don't really care. even tv land airs paidprogramming.

I was surprised to see AMC airing Paid Programming. Has to be the first time since they did the format change in 2002, that they've done so. It looks like it will only be from 6-9AM Monday-Saturday. They are airing it in the same three hour block as TV Land does. i really hate Paid Programming, but I guess viewership is really low during the overnight/early morning hours.

If you think that AMC not airing paid programming is not capitalism, you might want to read up on capitalism. Every Downy or Fancy Feast ad you see is capitalism at its finest. The entire country is hurting financially and looking for ways to stay afloat, so whatever it takes.

I quit watching them when they started editing movies and interrupting for commercial brakes. Give me TCM anyday!

*By the way, TCM does actually play movies if you request them on their website. In the past few years I've asked for about 20 movies that were never released on video or dvd. TCM has played 14 of them!

BOOOOOOO...I remember the good old days when they'd show Laurel and Hardy, Natalie Wood movie marathons, Orchestra Wives...those were the GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

AMC has been selling out for years...this takes the cake!

AMC have long solded out so I am not surprised by this. Yet another reason not to have cable.
