Jennifer Aniston has big plans for 2010 - the Hollywood actress is planning to open her own restaurant. The former Friends star is hoping to indulge her love of spicy food by launching an upmarket Mexican eaterie in New York.

Rumors of Aniston's plan to open a restaurant began back in the summer, and now the actress has confirmed she is in negotiations to put it into action.

She tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "If all goes well I hope to open a Mexican restaurant in New York City in 2010. I love Mexican food. I'll mingle with customers and be a guest waitress."

Aniston will follow in the footsteps of another TV star if her dream comes to fruition - Eva Longoria Parker owns a Mexican American restaurant in Los Angeles called Beso.

Aniston Denies Restaurateur Reports
4 Jan 2010

A representative for Jennifer Aniston has dismissed reports the actress is planning to open her own restaurant.

Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper claimed the former Friends star was preparing to launch an upmarket Mexican eaterie in New York later this year.

The publication quoted Aniston as saying: "If all goes well I hope to open a Mexican restaurant in New York City in 2010. I love Mexican food. I'll mingle with customers and be a guest waitress."

But her spokesperson has laughed off the report, telling GossipCop.com the claims are "not true".

So it's a false rumor. I guess that means we won't be seeing a chain of "Taco Jennifer" restaurants in the near future.

Jennifer should open up a Greek restaurant, since she's Greek-American. Hopefully all of the waitresses will look like Jennifer, too. ;)

I have not heard anything one way or the other about this restaurant venture. None the less, I am very happy to see that some conversation is finally being stimulated!

So it's a false rumor.

Consider the sources, IMDb and GossipCop are about as reliable as the National Enquirer.

Because of how slow the site in general is, I decided to give this thread another response just for the heck of it! Until next time folks.
