Ok...lots of things I noted in this one.
Marcia infers that carol is bad at maths but I am sure in an earlier episode (Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore?) Greg(?) says that she is great at maths.
We have a very rare shot in the kitchen with Jan and Cindy in which they are against the kichen patio doors so we see the kitchen patio at night. In future the characters would always be stood so that in close ups you saw into the living room, family room or against a curtain.
A boy Marcia may like is mentioned in this episode; Felix Brown. i am sure he is mentioned in another episode but I could be wrong.
When Mike finds the girls in his den there is a blooper in that we see Marcia move her hands to hide the letter behind her back twice in the separate shots edited back to back (a case of bad timing?).
Tiger is mentioned by Greg but not seen.
There is a very rare camera set up featured when Mike and Carol check on the kids at night. The camera, positioned at the hallway door leading into the boys room starts on Greg and then pans across before settling on the bunkbeds. As a result we get to see what is normally the fourth wall in boys bedroom (the fourth wall being the one where the camera is normally always positioned) which features the desk against under the window.
The last shot of Marcia before the second ad break is the shot of her taken at the start of a previous scene just before she got out of bed to post her letter.
Marcia climbs down the trellis which is next to the window in the family room. The girls bedroom window would roughly sit above the family room window. We also get a rare shot looking into the girls room from a viewpoint outside the window.
There is a blooper when Jan and Cindy try to cheer Marcia up in which Cindy closes the door too but it remains slightly open. In the close ups of Jan and Cindy it is fully closed.
The scene in which Mike discovers Marcia wrote the letter still gives me shivers as it is such a sweet scene.
