Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton are seen in these 2009 file photos. The teammates drew guns on each other during a Christmas Eve locker room argument over a gambling debt, according to The New York Post. Citing an anonymous source, the newspaper reports in Friday's edition that the standoff was sparked when Crittenton became angry at Arenas for refusing to make good on a gambling debt.

At a scheduled team practice today at the Verizon Center, Arenas refused to answer questions about the allegations. But when asked about the reports, he told ABC News affiliate WJLA, "I like the story, it's intriguing."

When asked if anything had transpired between him and Crittenden, Arenas said, "I don't know."

Later, Arenas' Twitter account had this posting: "i wake up this morning and seen i was the new JOHN WAYNE..lmao media is too funny."

I heard about this on NBA tv network today. They didn't say what the argument was about and they didn't say that they pulled guns on each other. I also read a few weeks ago that Gilbert has some guns in his locker which is really ********. Why would he do something stupid like that? He needs to keep his damn guns at home or at least keep one in his glove compartment of his car. Washington Wizards suck by the way and there's no excuse for that when they have a lot of talented players.

Incredible. I remember when he was singled out by the American Family Association for donating to schools in the Washington area! See http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/11/afa/102006g.asp for more info; it's over three years old.
