I just saw the 1st episode of Rhoda. The show was just as funny as I remembered it. They kept the first scene when Mary waved goodbye to Rhoda. :)

You beat me to it, Janet! All Rhoda fans should be happy to know that the opening scene with Mary at the airport was included in the rerun this morning.

Thats great news,I'm hoping to get a copy of Phyllis and the uncut Rhoda episodes sometime.
Shout should hang their heads in shame,with the mess they made of the Rhoda season1 DVD release.

The missing airport scene was included on the ALN airing but there were other things missing from the episode that actually were in the syndicated version on the DVD, such as a scene where Rhoda is putting on her makeup just before Joe comes to Brenda's apartment.

Thanks for the detailed comments. If these are cut at all, I guess there is no big reason to record them. I do not get this channel anyway, but I was going to have somebody record them for me.
