There was a Nintendo video game released in 1990 based off of the show called "The Adventures of Gilligan's Island".

Ginger is not featured and is completely left out of it.

I have no idea, but perhaps it's the same reason why the character of Ginger in the animated series was transformed into a platinum blonde: fears of the legal repercussions of using Tina Louise's likeness.

To be fair to Tina, she may never have had a problem at all with anyone using her likeness in animation. She's certainly never commented on it, as far as I'm aware.

I didn't know that about the animated series (I never have seen it) but that does seem to make sense.

This game is regarded as one of the worst games of all time and I was watching some game critics review it on the internet. I noticed that she wasn't featured in the game so I thought to ask.
