James Burrows co-created "Cheers" along with Glen & Les Charles, and directed the majority of the episodes. He is considered the modern master of directing the 3 camera, studio sitcom.

Um, I hate to tell you this, Chipsaugratin, but Burrows is not the modern master of directing the 3 camera, studio sitcom. The real master of directing the 3 camera, studio sitcom is Jay Sandrich.

Considering Burrows track record on directing "Cheers" the greatest sitcom of all time, as well as "Friends", "Will & Grace" and many others, I will stand by what I wrote.
