This one is just plain aggravating. In "Marriage Minneapolis Style," Ted keeps talking about learning Spanish so he can go to Brazil. I was watching this episode waiting for the joke, someone to set Ted straight, only to realize that this did not seem to be intended as a joke. Even Mary was on board with Ted learning Spanish, as if that's somehow relevant to Ted going to Brazil. And Georgette makes that "hasta la vista" remark. Couldn't any of the writers, anybody in the cast or crew have caught the error? Dang! Or is it me that's missing something? Surely every Brazilian watching that episode must have been royally insulted by this ignorance.
