It may have been Christmas yesterday but those Bradys took their tree down quick smart!

I could be wrong but I think this episode features the first establishing shot of Mike's office. Up until now we have gone straight to the interiour of it. I read some time ago that the buiding used is actually a library. If you look you will notice that on the outside that there are a number of coloured books.

I think the kids are seen playing Monopoly but I don't remember being able to win a yacht or having the the chance to own the County Hospital??? International differences in the game perhaps?

Mike is seen parking his car in the garage but is then seen entering from the living room at one point. Perhaps Carol and Alice had locked the patio doors?

Dr Porter went on to be the mother in Happy Days.

We get nice shots looing from the girls room into the boys room via the bathroom and vice versa in this episode. We also get a camera angle where the wall behind the head of the bunk beds in the boys room that featured the closet was clearly taken out for a shot during which Mike talks about the girls using a female doctor.

I am posting this reply maining because I know all about the lonely feeling that comes with starting a thread and seeing that there is little or no interest in it! After seeing this post get no responses in four days, my heart went out to the person from England who started it. Because of how nice and understanding this member has been to me in the past, I feel that I owe him or her this consideration!

I think "firsts" can be very interesting, I like that kind of trivia

And yeah, lol, I remember the "Monopoly" game... but the kids were playing by rules that I'd never heard of... I guess they didn't want to do a "commercial" for the actual Monopoly game, so they made up their own properties and prizes and so forth.

Yes, the lady Doctor was Marion Ross, who went on to star as Mrs. C on "Happy Days"...and the male Doctor was the guy who played Dennis the Menace's father on that late 50s/early 60s show.

And it's always cool to see camera angles that are seldom used.

Thank you both for your replies.

SmartBoy, my heart goes out to you but we should remember that this is an old show that we have all seen before. No new episodes are being made so there is no immediate buzz about it.

I do apprectiate any replies to threads I post put unless you have something new to address or discuss there is often no need to add anything. Sometimes I will read a thread that provokes no responce from me so I don't reply other than perhaps saying I agree. I think what I am saying is, just don't take it to heart. :)

This night, like most night, I went all over this board to see if there was anything new. There were very few new posts anywhere. I guess that most people are busy celebrating the Holidays and do not have time to do things like visit this board let alone post on it! In any event, because this is one of the few threads that is getting a little bit of action, I decided to post on it just for the heck of it. In any event, Happy New Year!

I'm finally caught up to the current year. Just a few months worth of threads and I'll be done going through the old threads!
