I've been getting this message for over two days. Today I logged in using IE and all seems well.
Just curious if I was the only one.

I got that message a lot too, but I figured I'd just wait it out and see what happens. Glad to see that it's back, though! Chocolate Moose 12-27-2009, 10:08 AM i figured it wasn't only me MrCleveland 12-27-2009, 01:42 PM I too had a problem. I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas on Christmas Day, but I couldn't because of a database error. TJ 12-28-2009, 01:24 AM Only the boards and photo galleries went down early Christmas morning. The rest of the site, including the blog, was still running. The MYSQL database server just stopped, so that caused the connection errors. There are very few tech support people available on the holidays. It finally got back up early on the 26th but crashed again when there were some 35,000 database error e-mails that clogged the system. It's disappointing that they were down for so long after having 50+ days of not having to reboot the server. I guess it wasn't so bad to have it happen on the lowest traffic day of the year. Sorry for the extended downtime. I hope everybody enjoyed the day with their families. Scoobiedoo30 12-28-2009, 12:55 PM we are all glad to have the Boards back up and running |
