View Full Version : What seasons do you have on DVD? Chocoholic 12-24-2009, 06:13 PM I only have seasons 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8. I still want seasons 1, 4, and 7. Scoobiedoo30 01-02-2010, 01:30 AM as of now season 1 and season 2 steevo 01-02-2010, 05:39 PM All of them, including the original movie! Skywalker 01-02-2010, 10:23 PM I have Seasons 1-5 on DVD. I hardly ever watch episodes from seasons 6-11 on tv so I have no interest in buying those seasons on DVD. LuLu Rogers 01-05-2010, 04:38 AM I have Seasons 1, 2, 3, 11 and the Final Episode extras set. Marvo301 01-06-2010, 02:04 AM I don't have any seasons of M*A*S*H on DVD. I haven't felt the need since I can watch several episodes a day on TV. History Channel Canada shows 2 episodes a day and KVOS Bellingham (Washington State) shows an episode every evening. mjensen55 01-11-2010, 03:54 PM I have season 2 and 11. Dog Tags 02-02-2010, 11:33 PM Currently my collection consists of seasons 1 - 11 on DVD, the 2 disk set titled " Goodbye, farewell and amen ", the movie "MASH", "After MASH" on dvd along with "WALTER". For those who insist on watching on cable or satellite, you're missing about 5 minutes of cut material from each show along with the ability to turn off the laugh track. Chocoholic 02-04-2010, 05:09 PM ^ I find the show much more enjoyable without the laugh track. I can't stand canned laughter. Dog Tags 02-05-2010, 12:45 AM Couldn't agree more on this topic. Listening to the earlier seasons without the giggle track on, you can almost sense where they paused their lines waiting for effects to add the laughing even though I doubt this was the case. It also allows the viewer to laugh when there is something funny to laugh at , not the mindless giggles we hear. I have found myself wondering what they thought was so funny to deserve a giggle track a number of times. treky 02-06-2010, 01:38 AM Larry Gelbart didn't want a laugh track in the series, but CBS insisted on one. But he got them to take it out of the OR scenes, though. He said "These people are in the middle of Korea, who's doing the laughing"? Anyway, back to the original topic: I have seasons 1, 2, & 3 on DVD, and that's all I want. And I have one of the Columbia House VHS tapes from the 90s, with the pilot, "BULLETIN BOARD" from season 2, and "RADARS REPORT" from season 3. Also the original movie on VHS which I bought way back in 1988-and which I recently found out is edited. For those who insist on watching on cable or satellite, you're missing about 5 minutes of cut material from each show along with the ability to turn off the laugh track. I have all 11 seasons on DVD. When my Mrs. and I first purchased M*A*S*H, the first 2 seasons were still on VHS video tapes. We eventually "modernized" and got DVD sets for all 11 seasons, and we watch them very regularly (just about every night at dinnertime). I have the original 1970 movie on VHS as well, but it just does not compare to the tv show. I've been watching season 10 lately, but I too prefer seasons 1-8 the best. Incidentally, how did you get AfterMASH on DVD? I'd love to find that! 70s show watcher 08-02-2010, 05:19 AM seasons 3 4 5 6 7 8 11 and the 1970 movie treky 08-06-2010, 01:56 AM Currently my collection consists of seasons 1 - 11 on DVD, the 2 disk set titled " Goodbye, farewell and amen ", the movie "MASH", "After MASH" on dvd along with "WALTER".
