This case from the 80's has been getting some press on the news lately. I work in williamsburg not far from the location. The other day on the news they stated that evidence has been sent to the fbi with the hopes that new technology advances may be able to help solve it. I really hope they solve it and its nice to see it getting some recent exposure. I think it was 6 people murdered with two others missing over a three year period.

I actually drove through there after a work christmas party recently around two in the morning. Had two coworkers with me but it was still spooky at night. Its around 25 miles long and the time we were on it only two cars passed us going the other direction so its definitely a spooky place at night.

Ive been hoping they solved it for a long time. Maybe the new press will help.

Here's a link on what Mikewho was describing.

It doesn't sound to me like a case that was on UM. However, one person of interest in the case, the late Michael Nicholaou, has been a suspect in the "Valley Killer" case, a serial murder case that UM profiled in 1990. That was the case in an unidentified serial killer who committed a string of killings around the New Hampshire/Vermont border during the 1970s and 1980s.

Small world. I live in Williamsburg.

This case has always interested me. Back in the late 90s, I used to go there late at night with friends sometimes. We liked to park and go swimming. (Stupid and dangerous, I know.) One time a cop came and yelled at us. I haven't driven around there at night in years.

I'm glad this is getting more attention again!
