does anyone remember an episode about a little girl who was kidnapped after a tornado hit the oklahoma town where she lived? i think it happened in the 1940s. i would like to know the girls name and the name of the town. please respond if you remember this episode.

I remember that story. The girls name was Joan Gay something. I remember watching the news a couple years ago and it stated that she had been located, but I have never seen an update about it on UM.

I was just reading about this recently. She has still not been found. IIIRC a few years ago they thought they had found a match, but she did not turn out to be her. But then, that might have been another case. But no, no match so far.

Joan Gay Croft. She vanished after a 1947 tornado that hit her hometown. They checked hospitals around the area to see if she might've been there but was never found and her body has never been located.
