What's the Future for Benz and Dexter?

If you haven't seen the finale, do not read on.
Julie Benz, whose character Rita was killed off at the end of Dexter season four, talked to PopWrap recently and speculated as to whether her character will return as one of Dexter's visions (similar to how his father appeaers) in season five.
"It would depend on how they want to utilize her and in what manned," she said.
"I would return for the fans but only if it made sense and had impact. I wouldn't want to cheapen what happened. I think her death was so poetic in so many ways.
As shocking as it was, there was poetry in the imagery and I wouldn't want to take that away. But I trust our writers tremendously and they wouldn't do anything to cheapen that. So if they want Rita to come back, I'm open to exploring that."
Time will tell what the writers ultimately decide!
