Candace Cameron Won't Read Full House Co-Star Jodie Sweetin's Memoir

Jodie Sweetin's new memoir UnSweetined, which details some of the unsavory personal elements of her TV childhood background, won't have one reader among its ranks: former Full House co-star Candace Cameron.
When asked this week if she had read Sweetin's book, which came out in November, Cameron, who played Sweetin's older sister on the late 80s/early 90s TV show, shook her head, smiled and said, "I have not."
"Well, I am a little curious, but I can pass," Cameron told Inside TV at Tuesday's JCPenney "Joy of Giving" party in West Hollywood.
Sweetin's years of struggles with drugs are detailed in UnSweetined.
Cameron is also working on a wellness book (not a memoir) for fall 2010 -- but says she was not inspired by Sweetin's book.
"No, not at all. I had been working on my book before I think she thought of hers. There was no connection to me," Cameron says.
"It's on health and fitness," Cameron says of her book. "I get asked a lot the questions having the chubby cheeks when I was a kid, and having three kids now and being in good shape.
This [book] is basically about that, and my journey to getting healthy. Giving lots of tips and how to make that connection to staying committed and getting in shape. It's not a new diet plan. It's not a new exercise routine. It's really the commitment part of it."
Cameron, who stars on ABC Family's Make It or Break It, adds that we should never look for her on a reality show: "We have been asked several times for all different types of reality shows, and I have said no to all of them."
