Last night I was watching the Patty Duke show and as I was sitting there I was just giggling  . I couldn't help it.
How Patty is so much more domineering than humble Cathy.
Patty (Anna) Duke was just so talented. The way she played those dual roles. I love this actress so much.

Agreed! :)
I'm glad that Patty Duke can enjoy the work she did on the show. She has every right to be proud of what she did.
As for Patty and Cathy, I wonder how many times Cathy bailed out Patty when Patty didn't even realize it.
OH Nuts!

I sooooo agree with you. The more of Patty I see the more I like. So totally talented all the way around. And a real person to boot. She's tops!

On the topic of humor, there are a number of really funny episodes, but do you know the one that just always manages to crack me up no matter how many times I've seen it? It's the 2nd-season episode where Patty and Cathy are competing for the affections of the new 'boy next door.' The episode is chock full of hilarious little moments... like Patty's self-conscious attempt at putting up an attractive front during her introduction to Scotty in the kitchen; Or, Cathy's totally uncharacteristic loss of composure when she joins in with Patty 'shushing' back at an offscreen character at the close of the library scene; Or, Patty's facial transition from excitement to a disgusted slow-burn when Ross answers her question about 'knowing what kind of girl Scotty likes' and he calmly states "like Cathy." Not to mention, Patty's surprise and exasperation at Richard's return. The whole episode is full of these priceless touches. It's an absolute sitcom gem.
