I don't think I ever watched that...but wasn't Sam Waterson in it? I like him, he's my favorite ADA ever on Law and Order.
Yes he was. He was an attorney and the father of a son and a daughter living in a town in the south. Their Black house keeper was a major character and her family also played a large role. I hadn't thought if this before but it was kind of a modern day, "To Kill a Modkingbird". that beautiful song, "I'll Fly Away" was the theme song and theme of the story, I would say.
He might have been a city councilman or held some political office or another. Can't remember for sure.

Janice 12-03-2001, 12:01 AM My favorite drama shows are The Practice, The West Wing and The Sopranos. I guess Ally McBeal would be considered a comedy, but I love that show too. I loved Gideon's Crossing, and hated that it wasn't renewed.
DueSouthFan 12-04-2001, 09:42 PM Due South. It was a drama but had comedy in it. There were dramatic parts...real dramatic parts. Victoria's Secret was a really heavy ep. <sigh> I love a man in a red uniform LOL. Does he know red suits him?

Maria 01-25-2002, 06:40 AM  I liked:
- "Diagnosis: murder"
- "Quantum Leap"
- ''Beverly Hills 90210"(not all the episodes)
- some Russian dramas but I think you haven't seen them.
MacLeaper 01-28-2002, 01:11 PM Well, I would classify this under sci-fi, but Quantum Leap definitely rules! Would have to be one of my favorite shows on in the 90s. But I'd like to point out that the show started in 1989 and therefore counts as a show of the 80s. Also, Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was okay. I liked it pretty well, but it got stupid by the last season. And of course, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles rules! I also liked The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. Diagnosis Murder was all right too, though it was kinda one of those shows I watched and looked forward to because there was absolutely nothing else good on. (This was before I got cable) Also, one of my absolute favorite shows from the 90s ever, would have to be Early Edition. This was my Saturday routine. I'd watch Early Edition, followed by Martial Law, and Walker, Texas Ranger. Early Edition was really the only one I really made sure to try not to miss, but the other two were pretty good too. I also liked Life Goes On, but I think that started in the 80s too. And I loved Star Trek: The Next Generation (best one of all the subsequent Star Trek series, although the original series rules too) but again, this show started in 1987. I suppose I'll add Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager because it IS Star Trek, but I really didn't like them as much as Star Trek: The Next Generation. And hey, that's pretty much all the shows I liked from the 90s! (Well except for the cartoons of course- hmm, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited(all right, but not as good as Spider-Man) X-Men, Peter Pan and the Pirates, Aladdin, Timon and Pumbaa, Jungle Cubs, and Eek!stravaganza) Okay, well that's pretty much it! (I have a MUCH bigger list for the 1980s because that decade rocked!)
Ricardos4ever 02-08-2002, 07:25 PM "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." Every week I couldn't wait for it to come on!

bonbon 04-03-2002, 03:38 AM I'd have to say it's a tie between Touched By an Angel and 7th Heaven. I also like:

- Christy
- Dr. Quinn
- Safe Harbor (it only aired for one season on the WB. If anyone has any episodes taped, I'm willing to pay for copies.
That's all I can think of now.

No sorry :( I thought the show was great and the WB would pick it up, but nope they didn't. The "Why Bother" network is turning into garbage. I am sorry I don't have Safe Harbor on tape, hope you find some one who does :)
