Arguably, one of the most enjoyable past times of the holiday season is watching holiday films. There are only a handful of films that truly capture the reality of middle-class holiday experiences. Watching the Griswolds grimace and cringe their way through Christmas is now marked as a 20 year old tradition.

Happy 20th anniversary to a very funny movie that never fails to make us feel better about our own feeble attempts to celebrate Christmas. Thank-you Griswald family!

It's one of my favorite movies. I noticed that AMC aired two showings of the movie all this week. I'm probably going to watch my DVD sometime soon.

I'd hate to see what the Griswolds' light bill (not to mention their insurance premiums) were like after that Christmas!!
