Did Arnolds go by another name in the earlier days. need the answer for a trivia question. also where did the pilot take place?

Actually "Arnold's" had the sign of "Arthur's" in the first episode.

Pat Morita played "Arnold" in the 1975-76 season, I believe, but he was not the original owner of Arnold's. Just for fun, who was? I remember that in the episode "Crusin" Ralph says to Bag "Old Man Arnold banned us for a week." Of course we never saw his face. I notice another missing character refered to a lot was "Clarance" the cook. He later appeared in the 1982-1983 as a midget. I always wondered how a midget could reach for the stove, much less cook!
