As we know, Mark Harmon is Kris (Harmon) Nelson's brother. Has anyone ever read anything about how well Mark got along with Rick? I do know Mark once refused to be interviewed about Rick, but that was after he passed away.

Now that you mention it, I really don't know or recall ever hearing (or reading) if they got along one way or the other. Hmmmmm. I would think the best source of that would be Kris' 1992 autobiography. Perhaps she mentions it there. In the meantime, check out this link: great Nelson article from 1974.

Thanks for the great information. I saw Harmon on tv recently and he said his first tv work was on Ozzie's Girls as a man in a gorilla suit. Go figure.

I do recall Mark and his wife Pam Dawber trying to get custody of Sam after Rick died. I seem to remember reading that somewhere else. It's remarkable that all 4 of Ricky's kids have turned out so well. Under the circumstances, other celebrity's kids wouldn't have.

I thought I had read somewhere someplace that Rick got along well with all the Harmons. It sounded like he got along with them better than Kris.

Mark Harom is a very private person and doesn't like to really give info on his personal life. I would suspect that if he declined being interviewed about Rick it would be because he didn't want to answer questions of the aftermath of Ricks death ..ie his custody fight with Kris over Sam.

Mark and Pam dropped the custody battle for Sam after it was found out Pam was going to be put on the stand and grilled about her past drug problems.
