Anyone see the Jimmy Garrett interview? It was impressive how he had great things to say about Lucy and Viv, as well as the on set teacher. I'd like to see how Ralph Hart and Candy Moore look today, a reunion would be great to see.

I enjoyed watching the interviews with Jimmy and Lucie. Hopefully they can do interviews with Ralph and Candy for future season releases.

Did you notice the ornaments on the mantelpiece looked like the ones in I Love Lucy. I wonder if they were the same ones or just reproductions.

Yes, it did look familiar. I really am impressed with the entire cast for doing a full run through without any cuts, that's professionalism. You can see Lucy raise Jimmy's hand when they were dancing in the New Year's episode.

Been watching some season 1 episodes on the DVD, I like the cast commercials, those are cool to see. Too bad CBS couldn't locate the commercials for all 30 episodes, as it turned out I think a little over half the episodes include the cast commercial.

The 1st season has some funny episodes but the series was still in experimental stage at this point, the series didn't hit it's stride until seasons 2 and 3. It wasn't the same anymore after Vivian Vance left, but Gale Gordon and Mary Jane Croft filled the void adequately. The three kids that were cast in the show at the beginning were not really given much to do, a few spoken lines here and there, it seems they were basically in the cast for Lucy and Viv to have someone else to react to other than each other. As the seasons progressed, the kids were gradually phased out of the show.

Also with the season 1 bonus features, was cool to learn that there was a brief run of Lucy Show comics along with a Lucy Show board game. Back in the 1960's, it was common to merchandise popular TV shows, comic books and board games were popular in those days.
