I was watching earlier this week a video clip of the "Howard Stern Radio Show" (video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytUeAtEoyRc) and the subject Stern talked about this week was "I Hate Kirk Cameron."

Among other things, Mr. Stern called Mr. Cameron "a ****ing imbasult" and told Cameron to "get out of my country."

I have a message to Mr. Howard Stern, assuming he's reading this: yes, Kirk may have done a lot of controversial things in his younger days (e.g. call the President of ABC, proclaiming his employers Dan Guntzelman, Mike Sullivan, & Steve Marshall "pornographers" and shave a year off his true age to make himself younger for his "Growing Pains" part because his character was born in 1970), but come on, Man, give Kirk a break; he was only 21 at the time and had a lack of maturity about the Bible and overall life.

True, Mr. Stern, you may be a 55-year-old Jewish man born January 12, 1954 in Roosevelt, New York, & Kirk Cameron may be a 40-year-old Christian man born on October 12, 1969 in Panorama, California, but think about this: not only are you insulting Mr. Cameron, a 40-year-old Christian man who has never smoked a cigarette, nor drank an alcoholic beer, and as a teenager in the '80s, was a vegetarian (though in his memoir he did admit to growing out of his teenage vegetarianism), but you are also insulting his 34-year-old sister Candace, their parents Rob & Barbara, and the entire Cameron family.

Think about this, Mr. Stern: what if Mr. Cameron's way of thinking is 100% correct?; what if the Old Testament that Jewish folks like you believe is wrong and the New Testament that Kirk believes in is right.

Who the hell do you think you are having a right to call Mr. Kirk Thomas Cameron "a dumb ****"; you might as well call his sister Candace a "dumb ****" too.

If anything, Mr. Howard Stern, YOU ARE A DUMB ****!!!! Have you ever thought about that?

I know a guy named Danny Hooley, a distant cousin of mine, who listens to Kirk's sermons every Monday night at 7 p.m. on TBN, and let me tell you something, Mr. Stern: his sermons changed Danny's life 100% for the better.

For those of you reading this message, I humbly apologize for using profanity on this board, but this is something I had to get off my chest.

I admit that Kirk Cameron is a little too religious and he's definitely an evangelist. I can't stand those kind of people, but I'd take him over Howard Stern ANY day.

I can see why Howard could dislike Kirk. I mean, if you find God, and your a christian with a strong faith, I'm happy for you. However, I hate it when people get so friggin' smug about it and anyone who has studied Growing Pains history knows that he was smug and perhaps beyond that. He became incredibly judgemental and frankly, I believe Matthew said this:

"Judge no lest you be judged."

Excellent quote.

I will admit that Kirk may go overboard in his belifes (with all due respects he is not Billy Graham). That said he is a moral decent human being which you cant say about Howard Stern.

Except you're taking it out of context.

So Cameron was "Smug and perhaps beyond that"? Isn't THAT a little judgmental?

Cameron isn't judging anybody. People are allowed to say what they think is right and what they think is wrong.

btw, anyone who is interested in an excellent commentary on the "Judge not" verse can check it out here (http://www.awmi.net/bible/mat_07_01). There are a lot of verses that have been cross-referenced so that the meaning of those words is clear.

If no one is supposed to judge, why do we have judges in the first place? Obviously, someone is supposed to judge.

At any rate, Stern would hate anyone who thinks that some things are right and some things are wrong. And he would despise anyone who had any kind of a moral compass.

No, I think you misunderstood me. I'll be the first one to admit that I judge when something's really not my business. It's human nature I guess. I'm just saying if it is such a Christian thing to do than why does it seem like the Christians that can be some of the most judgemental people??? Now please note I said some not all.

Interestingly enough, I just found out today (according to a billboard in the next town over from me) that Kirk Cameron is going to be speaking at a nearby church the first weekend in January. I doubt I'll go, but whatever happens, it should be interesting!
