I don't know if there are other club/music venue people here but even if you're not I'm sure you know that the club scene is not the same as it was thirty years ago.

Here in Brooklyn/Manhattan there were quite a few music venues around and in recent years most of them are no more. CBGB's was a pretty famous one in NYC that closed a few years ago.

I have seen many indie bands perform over the years at various clubs around NYC, Staten Island, and New Jersey but nowadays it seems there's not many places to go to.

I guess it has to do with the rise of internet music that people don't want to travel to clubs when you can download the album online. I loved going to shows and picking up the CDs from the band themselves.
