I'd rather jump off a bridge, but I'm wondering who is the brave among us. I just heard that Wal-Mart is open on Thanksgiving, lol.

I have the wonderful honor of working both Thanksgiving (I go in to work tonight... Fun!) as well as Black Friday. I will be around for the 5am sales, and not by choice. *puts on body armor*

I will NOT be shopping.

All kidding aside, Allison, you had better suit up. Remember last year or the year before, a worker was trampled to death. The herde kept right on shopping. Please, be careful.

I might stop by in the early afternoon(I will not be there at 5 or 6am under any circumstances), but otherwise I'm gonna be busy. Iron Bowl(Alabama/Auburn game), and then I'm working at night(at a restaurant fortunately  ).

My mom and I will probably go. I find the best way for me to get up that early is to just not go to sleep. We only go to stores that are opened 24 hours though, I'm not wating outside in the cold and rain.

I lose my mind doing Christmas shopping on a normal day, so there's no way I'd ever attempt this.

I have to work 6am-2pm but I work at a fast food place, so hopefully it will be more like a normal day. It's located down the road a ways from Walmart and the Mall, so maybe we'll get lucky and they'll leave us alone!

I may only go to Bestbuy I'd like to get a new dvd player, actually a up conversion unit which makes your dvd's close to 1080p. If I don't go I'm staying home.

I totally would, if we had anything like that in the back. I'm actually scared!

Fortunately, I work in the back... so hopefully, if I have to help guard a pallet, it can be one that's near the backroom doors.

I'm gonna stay away from the malls and big-box stores tomorrow, but I might walk down to the supermarket to get a few groceries (a fast ten-minute walk) because it will definitely be easier than driving and dealing with the traffic.

Also, I'll probably buy a few gifts online, including something for myself! :happyface

Going to the mall on a NORMAL day makes me want to toss my cookies - that's why I stay far away from them this time of year.

Maybe me just a little bit. But if it gets TOO CRAZY I'll pack it in and wait - the sales won't run away.

My sister and her husband were planning to go out to an outlet store at MIDNIGHT!!!!

I'll be working. If I wasn't working I would be at home putting up decorations and NOT shopping. No way!

Well, I'm happy to report that I survived Black Friday '09. It was a freaking mob at my store.

I went to Wal-Mart and Target. The Wal-Mart I went to wasn't too bad. The Target was pretty packed. I bought mostly DVDs, a Rock Band game and few toys and clothes for my nephews.

I have never gone shopping on Black Friday I usually have to work that day. But after what I heard last year I am glad I don't go. Last year I heard there were a couple people that got hurt at Walmart being shoved and pushed around and I think I also heard someone got killed last year but I can't say that was for sure.

I lied. it turns out that my mom really wanted to go to Target. So I did have stand in a HUGE line outside while it was snowing. Ok it was just flurries but still it was cold. Of course they only had two sets of twin sized flannel sheets, one was boring white and the other one was really ugly. So I didn't get a set. The lines to get to a lane were insane!!!! I don't know how long it was exactly but it didn't help that there was a really annoying woman in back of us. Evey few minutes, "Why aren't we moving?, Is that line moving? How come they are moving? I really hate just standing here." I really wanted to turn around and say "Yes we not moving! No one is moving! SHUT UP!!!!" I did get cute pair of cute fleece pants though. They're nice and warm, I put them on right when we got home and went to bed. :sleep2:

I didn't go. I didn't want to. The crowd and craziness isn't worth it, imo.

The only stores that were crazy were Kholes, Best Buy and Wal-Mart. The lines were so busy at Kholes, we left. We hid our stuff and said we'd come back and get it after the line cooled down. We were so tired, we didn't. We went right on home.
