I found it particularly funny in "The Crush" when Angela calls Mr Belvedere the wrong name (can't remember exactly which one) and asks him if he thinks she should go (to a concert) and he says "I would appreciate it"

Speaking of which, has anyone wondered what it would be like if Angela had a boyfriend all to herself? Well, I have just thought of the perfect suitor for Angela: Brad Johnson, played by Ryan Lambert of Kids Incorporated fame. The character will be same as his Kids Inc. character: bookish but handsome.

And I shall. No, it was actually "The Prize", also from season 2. In fact, here's a quick link to my episode guide on wikipedia to prove it:

No, she really wasn't all that bright. Michele Matheson did a great job at making Angela such a dim bulb.

Michele Matheson wasn't anything like her Angela character at all. She was a 4.0 student. That's how much of the exact polar opposite she was.

In the last original ep of S5, aired in May 1989, Belvedere had a dream where he went to Heaven, and Angela was his angel who kept calling him Lynn. He hated that and eventually asked if she could call him Mr. Boxer Shorts instead!

I saw that one last week on Antenna TV. It was one of the earlier ones. As her character developed into a ditzy blonde, the different names began to start. Those names cracked me up. "Mr. Bellbottom" had me in stitches.

I watched both eps. I hadn't seen the record shop eps since 1993 in syndication rerun. I hadn't seen the long theme version of season one and two since it aired on ABC back in 1986. This is awesome. Let's hear it for Mr. Beerbelly!!!

She is cute. I am a woman so I don't see girls as hot like a guy would. But she is pretty and being an airhead makes her really cute. She's nice too, better to be ditzy than snobby! ;)

yes, She's a sweet, nice girl. She's a perfect friend for Heather who is also a really nice sweet girl. Heather is very intelligent and not snobby at all either . She is also very kind and she is patient with her ditzy friend. Some friends would be short tempered with Angela!

Actually, Heather is not "very intelligent"---and I say this as a Heather fan! lol I have to be honest that she is definitely not on par with the intelligence of Wesley, who is so incredibly sharp (she never got great grades, either, unlike Wesley, who aced things). However, compared to Angela, yes, Heather is definitely very intelligent!

Almost 100% of all actors that play "stupid" or "crazy" characters aren't like that in real life.

Yup, but she definitely has her own resources for smarts. Just check out the episode where Wesley paints her face like an Easter egg  Her realization that teasing Wesley with revenge without ever actually getting revenge was brilliant! Go Heather! :D

LOL!!! Right now she just said to Kevin "You're sister is an egg's benedict" ( meaning a Benedict Arnold/traitor ) because Heather decided to enter a beauty pageant that Angela was already in and run against her. :D

OH NO!!!! Now she just called him Mr. Bar Mitzvah !!! She is a TRIP!!!! :D

OMG...forgive me if this has been noted in this big thread before, but Angela once actually called Mr. Belvedere Mr. Belvedere! I couldn't believe it!!

I'm currently going through the seasons, and in the season 3 sophomore episode, "Grandma", there's a scene in the kitchen with Angela, Heather, Wesley, and Mr. Belvedere. Heather and Angela want Wes to go with them to the rest home to do the adopt-a-grandparent thing, and when they're trying to get him to go, Angela says, "C'mon Mr. Belvedere, tell him to go to our open house."

It's easy to miss because she says it quickly in a succession of lines by Heather, Wes, Angela, Mr. B., and Wes again.

If you never caught it before or want to hear her actually say his correct name, go the 2:10 mark in the video below:
