Can anyone tell me what this is all about? I found this in two places, so far, with absolutely no information.

A 12 disc, 92 episode collection? Could it be that CM is finally going to start releasing stuff that has not been released, previously? Or am I just wishing in one hand and ****ing in another to see which one gets filled first? :lol:

Bizarre Murders Volume 1? I surely hope that means that there will be more Bizarre Murders DVDs to be released (with previously unreleased segments not on the first one). If Cosgrove/Meurer were to do so (since they made so much money from Spike on this atrocious re-vamp job), then they will have redeemed themselves in my eyes (as well as most fans of the show's eyes).

The small, two disc sets appear to be, but this 12 disc one says "92 episodes" which is making me hope it actually means episodes and not segments. It was supposed to be released 6 Oct, though, and I still see nothing. :(

I have been stalking this release on Amazon for a while, and it is still listed as unavailable, meaning it may never be available. I doubt that it is a re-released box set as well. I think the only way to find out some answers is to contact First Look Studios, as there is nothing listed on the website regarding this release.

Why would CM waste money cleaning up old episodes of UM, when they can release on DVD the episodes they have on Spike already

I never said that. I just said I don't think it's a repackage of stuff that has already been released on DVD. Your assumption of releasing the Spike episodes makes more sense.

They've been pretty tight lipped about it, so far. The release date was supposed to be 6 October, but obviously, that has come and gone. We'll see what they have to say, assuming they reply.

Well, here we go. I contacted First Look Media and this is what they had to say:

This is more than lame. It's super mega ultra lame. I sent another email, asking if there was any possibility of it being released at a later time, or if it was a possibility that they may release UM on a season by season basis, but there is, as of yet, no response. I'll keep you all posted.

Oh, well thanks for inquiring about that. That is sad, but if was just a box set of the Spike TV episodes, I think I can do without.
