View Full Version : Lara Jill Miller on ICarly Richee 11-22-2009, 01:45 AM Lara was on an episode of ICarly recently, and I have uploaded her part in the show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4OrF0692OU  greelywinger 11-22-2009, 09:37 PM Many thanks for uploading this. Found another clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnDw0IMEj4Q Is the girl bringing out the goat Lara? Richee 11-23-2009, 11:08 AM Yeah that's Lara. I have a clip of her from another episode of the Amanda Show, maybe I should upload it too? Scoobiedoo30 11-23-2009, 12:49 PM Thanks for letting us know I am just wondering what episode was she on greelywinger 11-23-2009, 11:59 PM I'd love to see that. Smartboy 11-29-2009, 10:21 PM I have watched both of the uploaded clips and liked them a lot! In the first one, I saw Lara do something that I never saw her character do in the series. The thing that I am referring to is carrying a purse! When she entered the room in this clip, there was, as clear as day, a purse over her shoulder! When the series first came out, she was only supposed to be thirteen years old. This is at the very beginning of the time that purse-carrying would be age-appropriete. On top of this, she had a rather tomboy image. However, as the years passed, she sprouted a chest, showed interested in boys, and even wore a dress more than a handful of times. However, purse-carrying seemed to always be where she drew the line! The same holds true for Joe from the "Facts of Life". Any thoughts anyone? greelywinger 11-30-2009, 08:24 PM I have watched both of the uploaded clips and liked them a lot! Maybe in one of the later episodes. Can't wait until they bring out the complete series on DVD. Like usual, I am very happy to see that someone thought that a post by me deserved a response! Just like you, I am very much waiting for more seasons of this fine series on DVD. Other shows that I would like to see more seasons of include, Caroline in the City, Facts of Life and Mad About You. Some of the later seasons of "Happy Days" might be nice as well. greelywinger 12-01-2009, 07:21 AM I see 'Facts' stopped at season 3 and no news since. I thought Happy Days had more seasons on DVD by now. We were having a bit of a 'Happy Days' DVD marathon a few months back. Darryl Smartboy 12-01-2009, 04:34 PM In the first place, you are correct that only the first three seasons of "Facts of Life" are out on DVD. I really wish that there were more! By the way, I already own the first three. Do you own any of that series? I also have the first three seasons of "Mad About You" as well as the special collector's edition. Helen Hunt is one of the few people who makes me drool even more than dose Lauri Hendler! Only the first four seasons of "Happy Days" are out. I liked a lot of the episodes in the later seasons so I wish that the company would hurry up with that one as well. As far as the idea of having the whole series of "Gimme a Break!", I really hope that the company goes through with that one! Even though I already have the first two seasons, I would have no problam shelling out serious cash for the whole series! greelywinger 12-01-2009, 07:05 PM In the first place, you are correct that only the first three seasons of "Facts of Life" are out on DVD. Even though I already have the first two seasons, I would have no problam shelling out serious cash for the whole series! I don't own too many TV shows on DVD. I get a lot of my stuff from the local library. I like to preview stuff before I buy it. I haven't got a chance to check out the 'Facts' DVDs yet. I got 'Family Ties' & 'Growing Pains' from the library recently to see how well the shows held up after all these years. 'GP' didn't do too well and lost my attention. 'FT' however was timeless and I have watched it several times. One of my fave 80s shows 'Who's The Boss?' has only had the 1st season out (with no 2nd season in sight). I have... GAB Season One (USA) GAB Season The Complete Second Season (Canada) I don't have GAB Season One (Canada) yet. I will keep them all for one important reason. Pictures of Lara Jill Miller on the box. Darryl If you already have the American copy of season one, why would you buy the Canadian set? Is one or two pictures of Lara Jill Miller on the box worth buying essentially the same thing twice? greelywinger 12-01-2009, 11:21 PM If you already have the American copy of season one, why would you buy the Canadian set? Is one or two pictures of Lara Jill Miller on the box worth buying essentially the same thing twice? At one point I was thinking about replacing my American copy with a Canadian copy because I thought would release all the seasons individually. If I can get the Canadian Season one it's worth it to me. I'm in no rush though. LJM is the only person I'd do this for. Yes, I'm  about Lara. Happy to know you! greelywinger 01-04-2010, 12:50 AM It's been taken down from you tube. :( Smartboy 01-04-2010, 07:25 PM The first thing that I would like to do is respond to the poster who said that Samantha never carried a purse. This I will have to agree with. I tend to notice these realities because, ever since pre-addolesence, I have always looked at a girl's purse as being one of the many things that make her attire different from mine and attractive to me. I think that, in the early episodes, the absance of a purse can be explained by how young she was added on to her tomboy image. However, like I mentioned in an earlier response, as the years passed, she sprouted a chest, showed interest in boys and even wore a dress from time to time. The thing that I was hoping to stimulate some conversation about was why purse-carrying was where she always seemed to draw the line! I would now like to move to the topic of "Youtube" having taken down the uploads that the most recent respondee mentioned. My heart goes out to whomever will be missing them! |
