This case has always fascinated me in that there was a lot of ingenuity in this scam. One of the few cases where I have some admiration for the criminals, while at the same time abhoring their methods.

Does anyone know of a site that has more details on this case. I am specifically interested in a picture of the chart and how this extortion plan was supposed to work.

I'm also interested in what the exact motives where of the two accused individuals.
