I finished reading this book last night. It was obvious from reading this book how very deeply George Burns loved Gracie. I had a very hard time keeping a dry eye while reading this book. I was either moved to tears by the relationship I was reading about and the depth of love it was being talked about with or was laughing at Mr. Burns jokes so hard I was crying. This book was also a great history lesson about show business as George chronicles his and Gracie's journey through vaudeville, radio, the movies, and finally television. This book was a great read!

Dick York's memoirs (entitled The Seesaw Girl & Me) were published in 2004, 12 years after his death. Of course, he was the iconic Darrin #1 on Bewitched. :D

Lisa Whelchel (Blair, Facts of Life) has also published several books. Bob Newhart wrote his memoirs, entitled I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This, a couple of years ago.

That was an interesting read. Melissa Gilbert DID star on a short-lived sitcom back in the late 80s/early 90s called Stand By Your Man, and Rosie O'Donnell played her sister. So I guess she could be counted as a sitcom star in this case.

Also, both Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli of One Day at a Time have written books. So has Willie Aames (Charles in Charge; Eight is Enough).

I hear it's not a fan favorite but I guess it should be mentioned... Dustin Diamond's book Behind the Bell.

Here's another book written by a sitcom star that is a great read. It's written by Marcia Wallace (The Bob Newhart Show; The Simpsons) and is called Don't Look Back, We're Not Going That Way.

Susan Olson wrote a book.

Yep, it's called "Love To Love You Bradys" (or something similar) about the Brady Bunch Hour. In fact I hope to get this book; it looks like good reading!

It is indeed a very good book. Susan co-wrote it with Ted Nichelson and Lisa Sutton, who really did their homework - this book is chock full of great behind the scenes stories, info on the guest stars, and of course, the legend of Geri Reischl. :D

I can't believe nobody mentioned Patricia Heaton. She wrote a book called "Hollywood and Motherhood." It was a great book.

I have read Larry Hagman's book called "Hello Darlin' (The True and Not So True Tales of My Life)" and it was really good.

Alison Sweeney wrote a book "The Days of My Life (So Far)". I have read it and it's a very good book as well.

Macdonald Carey also wrote a book "The Days of My Life". I haven't read it yet.
