I have Season 1-4 of Charlie's Angels,so When is the final season of Charlie's Angels coming out on DVd?:D

Hopefully January or February 2010 *fingers crossed*

The last seasons of The Partridge Family and Bewitched were released
4 or 5 months after its previous season.

It would go like this "CHARLIE'S ANGELS: THE COMPLETE FIFTH AND FINAL SEASON"

It will be 1 year in July since the 4th season was released. Fans are dying
to get the final season on DVD with Tanya Roberts and more Jaclyn Smith who was the only original angel left.

I love John Forsythe (and I miss him), and he definitely is very important to the show.

Fans are still waiting for the Season 5/Final season DVD set a year and a 1/2 later....and sorry I forgot to include David Doyle and Charlie but I guess I meant to say that Jackie was the last of the original trio.

Cheryl only appeared in season 2 onward.

I was just thinking about this the other day. What is Sony waiting for? They're almost done with the show - get S5 out and be done with it already!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

My guess would be it's not coming at all. perhaps season 4 had low sales or they don't feel season 5 would sell. Whos knows how they think. Has there been other series where the final season of a show hasn't been released at all?

Really bummed that the remaining seasons of Happy Hays have not seen the light of day or for that matter Knots Landing stopped after season 2 and it does not look for any of these to keep going. So perhaps Charlie's Angels is too.

I only have the 1st season,but will get the others eventually. There are some shows i like but not enough to buy the season sets, i'm satisfied just to dvd the shows off tv. Charlie's Angels is one that i prefer to buy the store bought seasons.

BTW is it possible that Tanya Roberts wants something out of it and maybe holding it up?

I doubt Tanya wants anything, and even if she did, she doesn't own the show so it would have no bearing on a DVD release.

I was very surprised when Sony released S4 but in retrospect, I think they were counting on Farrah's impending death to create sales/interest. It actually sold very well on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. (It was in the Top 20 during the release week and for a few weeks after).

The only hope for S5 at this point is if Shout Factory releases it, as they have acquired many abandoned Sony series and resurrected them on DVD in the last year or so (All in the Family, Facts of Life, Mad About You, and the forthcoming Hazel).

Likely, they'll release season 5, as well as a complete series boxed set (with all 6 Angels) to coinscide with the new series when it premieres. Maybe some new extras too(?)!

I really could care less about Season 5, or Season 4, for that matter. The show really went downhill after Kate Jackson's departure. Cheryl Ladd was the only good replacement on the show as she fit right in from the beginning. Shelley Hack didn't fit in like Ladd did and Tanya Roberts was even worse. I'd say you guys are lucky that Season 4 even got released, but I think we all have Farrah to thank for that because if she didn't guest star, I doubt Sony wouldn't have even considered releasing Season 4.

Seasons 1-3 were amazing and it saddens me to see this show go downhill in Season 4. So, Seasons 4 and 5 are unwatchable to me. I don't blame Sony the least bit for not releasing the last season.

I would love to complete this series on DVD. So close yet so far away.

I only want Seasons 1-3. I have Seasons 2 and 3. I want Season 1, but I'm having a lot of difficulty finding a store that carries it.

At this point Shout Factory is our only hope!

At this point of waiting for YEARS on season 5 I will accept a manufactured-on-demand DVD-R set via Amazon in a cheap looking case w/ a blurry looking cast photo if no officially pressed DVD is planned.

Things are looking up...Sony's Create a Space MOD program on Amazon is the best chance for S5 to be released. They have already released S2 of Benson and apparently other things are coming including the CA 2011 remake.

Season 5 is here as part of a complete series set. It's better than nothing. We waited 3 years after all.

BTW Tanya Roberts is stunning and a great addition & Jaclyn managed to be there from beginning to the end of the series run.

YEAH! Cheryl was on longer than Kate. Farrah quit after 1 season, Kate after 3, yet Cheryl came along day 1 of season 2, and rode it out 'til the end!

I would have rather paid 10 dollars more for this, Sony=cheap, cheap, cheap!!!

Yes, Sony gets a big FAIL for the inner packaging on this. But now I'm glad I bought it since I got pressed discs of Season 5 and the stand-alone S5 sets will only be MOD.

For some reason, Farrah does not come to mind when I think of "Charlie's Angels." I think of Jaclyn, Cheryl, and Kate, maybe because they were the longest trio and Kris, Kelly, and Sabrina had more depth. Jill had the least depth of the first four Angels, in my opinion, and seemed the least passionate as a detective/police woman.

Honestly, when I think of Farrah, I think of "The Burning Bed," and "The Extremities."

The outer box was pretty amazing imo but you are right on the money with those DVDs stacked on both sides of the plastic spool (mine even cracked). I had to check the bottom of each DVD to make sure there were no scratches. I just put each one in plastic cases that hold two DVDs.

Now that Season 5's coming out individually, I don't have to worry about getting the big set now.

I was totally optimistic throughout this whole thing. You all should be praising God that this show even got finished at all knowing how Sony is with their classic shows. Go out and support it and if you bought the big set, well kudos to you as well. You supported a classic show which in recent times classic DVD releases have gotten no respect. And look, another show has been completed!

You all should be proud of yourselves.
